Gaibandha Government College (GGC), the biggest academic
institution in the district, has introduced digital system to collect all sorts
of fees from the students, reports BSS.
Official sources said the objective of introduction of digital system is to help the government build digitalBangladesh
and materialise "vision 2021" declared by Prime Minister Sheikh
Hasina. Sure Cash has cooperated with the college authority to implement the
system for the college students in December at the directive of the Ministry of
Education, sources said.
In this system, the students of the college would be able to pay their fees online and get SMS from the concerned persons instantly, said vice principal Mizanur Rahman. Princi-pal of the college prof. M Zahe-dul Haque said the hassle and bother of the students in case of submitting admission, tuition and form fill-up fees in the bank had been removed for introducing the digital system.
